My Religion

Do you ever wonder what religion is right? It's a question I've been asking myself for about 20 years now...When I was 7 I first started to think about religion. My thoughts then were that there is no good religion or nothing to believe in.I believed the same for about 20 years. While some times trying to convert to Christianity or just to find a religion that suited me.While trying to find answers I got myself in to some legal troubles selling and doing drugs.I was locked up for a litttle over 2 years. With time to reflect I come to the decision that drugs had ruined my life. All that time blaming drugs did me no good. Since I've been out this time I have managed to stay away from drugs.Before now I had always put drugs first.Before my kids, wife and my life. While I was locked up I asked myself many questions about my life.I asked God for help even though i didn't believe in him. I blamed God even though I didn't believe in him. Then I started to realize that sane people don't blame imaginary people. I blamed the police I even blamed society. That's when i started to realize that the only person to blame was me. My life had not turned out like I had wanted. Now seperated from my wife I realize that life is not about our plans. Life is what happens while we are making plans. I know now that in life there are choices to be made and the right choices usually lead to a better outcome. I know some of you readers are thinking what does all of this have to do with religion. Well it has everything to do with my new religion. I think when you die you do go to heaven or hell, but I don't think heaven has pearly gates or virgins waiting for me, and I don't think hell is a pit of fire .I think heaven and hell is thoughts you will have in yyour mind based on the good or bad decisions you make in this life. Heaven = Happiness+Morality Hell = Anger + Malice
